EA reveals NCAA College Football 25 teaser

Feel free to say Gator football is irrelevant, but I saw three UF references - jersey, Gator head and helmet/jersey combo - in that short ad.

 

I wonder if it will include the Transfer Portal, NIL, and Bowl Game Opt Outs. After all, "If it's in the game, it's in the game."

 

It's not irrelevant, far from it, which is precisely why all the "we are an average program" or "you need to lower your expectations" stuff is BS.

 

Whatever. It will suck like all their offerings and be all about "Ultimate Team" or some equivalent of that. Probably better off buying a PS3 and sticking with NCAA14.

 

You know it will, all behind a nice paywall of micro transactions.

I have been waiting for this game for 10 years. I can’t believe it’s been that long.

 

The college football games have always had a different feel than Madden. Madden25 and NCAA 14 were two vastly different games. I am hopeful that will continue. I really hope they don’t bring the crappy music that Madden has. I tend to go into the jukebox setting and deselect all of them

 

Do they have shady guys paying nil to get your roster?

 

NCAA 14 was a magnificent game. Here's hoping this one isn't a Madden port ... they've said it isn't and that some of the original dev guys are back on this one. It all rides on Dynasty and the editor. Excited to see something, even if it's a lame trailer.

 

That really was a tease. Wait until May for gameplay footage?

They kind of should because that is the game now, but I hate it hope that we will at least have the option to turn all that junk off.

Excited to carry on my lifelong tradition, since Bill Walsh college football, of never punting. I still play 14 weekly.

The real benefit of this game is a new generation of kids will learn - school traditions, fight songs, players, coaches etc.. There seems to be a new phenomena with kid ls under 24 that “knowing anything older than 6 months” is unheard of. Music, politics, pop culture and sports are all about right now and there’s almost a disdain for any reference points. Hopefully this game starts building a knowledge base
