I should’ve said the only reliable ball handler in the rotation. Both Zublickas and Aberdeen cannot be ruled out for the point guard spot next season.

If by “reliable” you mean “elite,” then I agree with you, haha. Pullin’s handle isn’t sexy, but he creates shots at a high level for himself and others while not turning the ball over. But Clayton and Kugel are hardly bad. Heck, if you put Lofton between them (given his low turnover rate and decent passing), you would be okay—assuming those two continue their development, or are even on the roster next year! It almost seems pointless to talk about the next season in college sports these days.

No doubt, who knows what the Gators or any other college team will have!

Yes, but I'd expect Clayton, Handlogten, Haugh, Kugel back as a core. I think kids leave because they aren't happy with playing time or get a push. I'm guessing we pay them appropriately. Maybe leave to join an NC contender.

You take a lot of subliminal shots at Clayton Jr. I've peeped that since he signed with us.

Condon and Richard, too. Kugel and Condon would be my "flight risks," but I am hopeful on both those scores. We'll see, though. Winning helps. Playing time helps even more.

I’m not taking any subliminal shots at Clayton at all. I think he’s a great two guard, and he’s not a point guard. It’s as simple as that, and I’ve been saying that from the time I’ve been watching him play, which includes watching him a little at Iona.
