I can’t wait till the ex wife talks. It’s amazing there can be such a downtrodden community that someone like Willis could be in charge of anything.

Ahh... just what the Bidenites wanted to see. Epic fail. Literally their best case, up in flames.

Everybody has mused what the election result might be with a Trump conviction. Has anyone thought about what the election result might be if the cases against him implode? This one was their blue chip.

Many have theorized that the various indictments and charges have actually helped Trump and made him more popular, especially with Republicans. If that's true, does Trump also benefit in the event the cases go away? He is better off either way?

That is a good point. Black women should be allowed to prosecute people while lying under oath about conflict of interest matters.

I'd say either way. The cases imploding in this sort of fashion would be at least a small boon to Trump, as it validates his mantra that it's mere political retribution. The indictments are done. It's not like they can rescind them. They can drop the charges, but the damage has been done.

Seems like pretty flimsy wishful thinking. Trump's team could try to make this case, but I haven't seen any direct evidence that Willis brought the case for personal/departmental financial reasons. Regardless, the evidence still went to a grand jury and charges were brought. The facts are what they are, and they will have to be proven before a jury at trial.

Now could Willis be removed or forced to resign and a more Trump-sympathetic DA installed? Potentially, but with a case this far along I'd imagine it would be pretty difficult to pull a complete 180 and drop the charges.
