One day this will get corrected. Either recalculate the scores from the games you are not going to count his stats from or count the stats individually that you are already counting for the team. Time to get over the grudge and recognize responsible accounting. Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
won by 20 or so. I still remember that game, watched from my GFs(future wife) condo in Gville. Purdue was ranked around 10 in the polls. I was giddy, watching us blow them out!
I didn't get to watch the game. I was on a really long bike ride (about 90 miles or so) and was riding into town from the east asking folks who won the game. We never got an answer but it was mostly black guys looking at a white and a black guy on bikes wearing lycra asking about a hoops game. They just stared at us wondering WTF I suppose. My friend eventually left UF to work for 3M in Minnesota.
I remember pulling in to play ball at Littlewood elementary and there was this guy just dunking everything. Hard rim rattling dunks. His name DD. Dwayne Davis, he of the highest field goal percentage, because they were all dunks and short range shots.
I remember Syracuse had Ronnie Seikaly. I hated that guy and it made it that much more painful when the Gators lost to them.
I stole the ball from Vernon Delaney and hit a finger roll with him in hot pursuit to win a pickup game . My best moment at The Slabs. Great team! Ah the good ol days
Loved that first sweet 16 team. They were tough, athletic, had moxy, nicknames, etc. Too bad they had to face SU which was one of the most popular college bb teams at the time with Boeham as the hc. I just knew when Seikaly did the put back on the missed SU's free throw late in the fame we weren't going to win it. He was all over the back of à UF (can't remember if it's Duane) player with no foul.
