What an offensive first half for UF!! Crisp passing, great shooting, tenacious defense, playing louse and efficient.
What a great finish to the half, just a few minutes ago LSU was within four, now they are in the rearview mirror. Keep up the pressure in the 2nd half, don't feel bad running up the score
Clayton was on fire, good minutes from Aberdeen, Haugh, and Condo, Samuel was Samuel, and Pullin was Pullin. I like it! Riley was good but missing his freebies.
Last time we had a team like LSU down like this we went to OT. Not a crazy environment tonight, up big, easy to get complacent. Need to go for the jugular.
After Baker, their highest scorer...4 points. Clayton 0-2 on 3's because he's like "I don't care, tonight you're getting something else."
Clayton - 14 points (6-of-8 FG, 0-of-2 3pt, 2-of-2 FT, 1 Reb, 2 Asst, 0 TO) Samuel - 8 points (4-of-6 FG, 2 Reb, 2 Asst, 1 Stl, 0 TO) Z Pullin - 7 points (3-of-3 FG, 1-of-1 3pt, 2 Reb, 1 Asst, 1 TO) Richard - 7 points (1-of-3 FG, 1-of-2 3pt, 4-of-6 FT, 3 Reb, 2 Stl, 1 Blk, 1 Asst, 1 TO) Condon - 6 points (3-of-4 FG, 5 Reb, 3 Blks, 0 Asst, 0 TO)
Florida hardly needed to shoot from the 3-point line (2/6). Most of Florida's points has been in the paint - 28pt? which came mostly on lay-ups and dunks! Defense clamped down on LSU later in the 1st half to build up that 14-pt lead: 48-34.
Now, let's see if Florida can suffocate LSU in the beginning of the 2nd half similar to the previous AUburn game.
