Russia won't have to shell anything out for the election, unless of course it's behind the AI that will do Biden in at the eleventh hour. A video of Biden eating a barbecued baby or something like that.

apparently ukrainian made drones may have hit the largest refinery in Moscow that supplies the fuel for 50% of the city...war coming home to Moscow..past time

Russia spooked by fiery eruption over Moscow's largest oil refinery (msn.com)

Footage circulating on social media shows a bright glow over Gazprom Neft, the oil arm of Russian gas giant Gazprom, which supplies half of Moscow’s fuel needs.

Moments later, a large fire can be seen raging over multiple buildings, triggering an alarm. Residents of the districts of Kapotnya, Maryino and Brateevo reportedglow in the sky at around 2.30am.

The incident came amid regular Ukrainian kamikaze drone strikes on Russia along with sabotage attacks linked to the war on energy and transport infrastructure.
    ............................
Gazprom Neft supplies 40% of Moscow’s gasoline needs and 50% of diesel fuel, and is also the main supplier of fuel for the capital’s airports.

I'm hoping the even dumber people realize that guy landslided Trump in the 2020 election and spanked him in the debates.

    You do know that, correct?

We know that Putin owns Trump. If only Trump would privately tell Bob Woodward why.

Landslided? I don’t dispute that Biden won fairly, but I seem to remember it taking a week to determine a winner because the elections in several states were too close to call. A “landslide” by anyone’s definition happens that night and so early that night the East Coast hasn’t gone to bed and no one needs to know how California voted.

Biden has noticeably aged four years since 2020. And does anyone think Trump is going to debate him? It might would behoove him to do so at this point, but Trump is his own worst enemy, so no debate should benefit Biden. That is, till an AI November surprise, and you know damn well that's going to happen. Then there will a lot of 'splainin' to do (if there's time) that "that" ain't true. Lots of luck with that.

Just saw a good "typo" or whatever in CNN closed captions. Referring to the far right threatening to oust Speaker Johnson if he even allows a vote on Ukraine aid etc., it called the far right "the foreign right." Right on.

That doesn’t surprise me. But Jeffries can rescue Johnson right now, too. He could openly declare that the Democrats will protect Johnson from such a move by Gaetz et al in order to achieve the national purpose of passing the aid bill. If Johnson still demurs, then it’s 100% on Johnson playing politics when the national interest is at stake. If Jeffries refuses to make such an offer, then he’s also playing politics with the nation interest.

Or a politically-correct one. It is a little hard to claim to be fighting Nazis while quoting the head Nazi in a sympathetic way in your justification for the war. Putin is a bigger Nazi than the so-called Nazis that he's fighting against.

They're stooges for Trump, who is in effect a Russian asset.

If it walks like a Russian asset (that is, on his knees), talks like a Russian asset (he would let Russia "do what the hell it wants"), then what the hell is it? Put him in the White House! (Putin in the White House!)

Musk Says Putin Can’t Lose in Ukraine, Opposes Senate Bill (yahoo.com)

Musk, the billionaire chief executive officer of Tesla Inc., made the comments in a forum Monday on X Spaces, part of his X social media platform. The discussions included opponents of a Senate bill that would provide further assistance for Ukraine to continue battling the full-scale Russian invasion that began two years ago.

He was joined by Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, JD Vance of Ohio and Mike Lee of Utah, as well as Vivek Ramaswamy, a former Republican presidential candidate, and David Sacks, a co-founder of Craft Ventures LLC.

Musk’s comments came as he agreed with Johnson’s statement that Putin would not lose in Ukraine. Johnson said those who expect a Ukraine victory were “living in a fantasy world.”

If Ukraine gets enough support and can survive another 2-3 years, Russia will run out of tanks. Russia has been trading quality for quantity, as newer tanks are destroyed in battle, they pull out more older and older tanks. Russia is believed to have 1750 main battle tanks on the field, and 4,000 older models in storage. Ukraine claims that Russia has lost over 3,000 tanks in the war. Presumably, Russia's fighting ability with older model tanks will be significantly degraded compared to what they are used to fighting with. Of course, with as many tank personnel as Russia has had killed or disabled in the war, the newer recruits might not notice the difference.

Russia's focus on quantity over quality leaves it with enough tanks for another 3 years of war – report

Moscow factory that makes MiG aircraft is on fire. The Kremlin is claiming that it is having a fire sale on "slightly crispy" aircraft. All inventory must go!

It might be a toy MiG factory, because 70 square meters (about 750 square feet) isn't big enough to assemble one fuselage, much less an entire aircraft. (Could be a typo--I could believe 7,000 sq. meters as a minimum.)
