I guess this is just another example of: elites being elites let them eat cake do as I say not as I do You pick which angle you want to defend, because I'm sure several of the Biden cultist will have a defense for this. Main one will be at least he is not Hitler, I mean Trump. Orange god bad!!! Must save the democracy!!
Am American embarrassment to the office of the presidency that the Dems need to pay for on election day.
You clearly dont know how tik tok works. Biden isnt posting at all on tik tok. His media people are. Second, the risk of tik tok is way overblown. What data does TikTok collect? The videos you watch and rewatch. The videos you comment on. The keyboard rhythms you have when you type in the app. Your phone and location data.
The biggest idiots are people who think Tik Tok is a risk while handing over the same data to US social media companies
Haven't thought about it much since the arguments between Haley and Vivek. The concerns about security risks seemed vague to me, as I never heard anyone explain the exact risk.
It's effective. My favorite congressman right now is Jeff Jackson and his tiktok account is informative as the day is long. TikTok - Make Your Day https://www.tiktok.com/@jeffjacksonnc
Once again, I'll state, why are we so worried about a Chinese company stealing our personal data when we've been willingly giving it all up to Facebook/Google/etc. for over a decade? If China wants data on Americans, they can probably already just buy the troves already collected.
To the OP's point, I agree it seems a bit hypocritical for a politician to use a platform for messaging that they'd previously denigrated as unsafe. I wouldn't put this high on the "political hypocrisy" scale, but seems an odd decision unless there's been a public reversal on the administration's stance re: TikTok.
Oh, I know how it works! Biden can hardly find where to exit a stage so do you think anyone actually thinks he is posting this stuff? Of course not but he is aware of it because he posed for the pictures and video. Once the left states the danger than it will be real. but since it is mainly the right discussing the dangers of social media and the Biden administration is concerned and considering a ban, it is fine until then. It the same $hit different day. If the left is for, it must be good, if the right is for, must be bad. Some independent thought might be good for all of us.
So there's a Biden cult. We need some projection from the right every day, so I guess this crap will do for today, though more will be nothing unusual. Joe Biden, cult leader. Isn't that intelligent?
Don't have it and probably never will. I see the dangers of it and many other social media outlets. It's just comical, I'm stating what is being discussed by both parties in DC, yet Ole Joe thinks it will help him keep power, so it doesn't matter for him and his campaign. If you fail to see that then ok, you be you!
Meh, the real tragedy here is that someone uses Bing. Rest assured, the best way to reach young voters is through Tik Tok and right wing entities use it plenty, including Trump surrogates.
So, I don't use the cool search engine and that is a tragedy. Glad you are so perfect. So the Trump campaign is using TikTok. Wasn't aware of that.
Funny. Montana’s Gianforte signs a bill banning TikTok, a red state… gets slapped down as unconstitutional, and we have a post about Biden using TikTok under some twisted “dems the problem”.
Difference is Tik Tok is a Chinese owned company and as such can easily be forced to turn of any data to the CCP. US could try to do that to Meta but unlikely it would happen. Remember when the US tried to force Apple to give them the keys to their IoS and lost?
