Their leading scorers are Jordan Wright, guard, 15 points per game, and Will Baker, Forward, at 12.4 ppg.
I'm guessing Wright will be our focus defensively, and Kugel will guard him when he's in the game.
Baker is a big dude, 7', 245 pounds, and their leading rebounder (5.1), followed by Wright (5.0).

I've said before, I've never seen this many 7-footers in the SEC.

Thanks Planet. Looks like UF has a shot at improving to 7 - 4 if they can handle the Tigers.
The remaining 8 games appear to me to be managable, thinking 4 - 4 at the very least.
Gotta take care of LSU to get the ball rolling.

The next couple games are “trap games”. Gotta hold serve.

Baker is a talented big man. They're not the best rebounding team and average more TOs than assists this year. We stay out of foul trouble and take care of the ball we should be able to control the game.

I don’t watch the other SEC teams nearly as much as I once did.

Thanks to you all who have provided some insight to who their go-to guys are and team/player stats.

I watched a big part of the LSU / Bama game and Bama ran them out of the gym. I feel like Bama is a team that is built similar to us in terms of size, athelticism, speed, etc. Probably a better version of us.

So I agree, that we just need to play our game and we should handle this LSU team.

Bama however, scares the crap out of me.

Not sure they'll need to use the shot clocks for the UF/Bama and UK/Bama games. Games will be absolute track meets. I think we can hurt Bama on the glass.

Tomorrow is Fat Tuesday. Hopefully they'll be wishing they were elsewhere while we proceed to kick them around the Odome.

Tall task at their place they'll be focused on taking us down a peg.

they scored 92 on bammer so that's a concern and averged 90 points in the 2 games with bammer

And lost them both by nearly 20.

LSU isn't an awful offensive team, they're just not very efficient. I think we want to make this a track meet to expose that inneficiency.

They beat both Wake Forest and Tammy, two teams that have beaten us. Can't take LSU lightly.

Doesn’t LSU have a superstar in Jalen Reed? I haven’t followed LSU, but I remember when several of you were saying that Jalen Reed was a huge loss when he decommitted from Florida.

Take teams in this league lightly at one's own risk.

Tremendous balance in the conference, I think some are suggesting the SEC may set a record for NCAA tourney qualifiers.

I don't think there's a SEC basketball coach I ever hated as much as Will Wade. My hate remains for LSU, for keeping him so long, despite my mom being an alumnus.

Trap games for average teams. If we can get through then with some authority, then perhaps that indicates we’ve grow even more as a team. I’m sensing that’s what is going to happen.

there are several examples in the other direction.

Just depends on which side of the coin one decides to focus on.

They’re one game over .500 with some bad losses, so there is that too.
