I’m not sure that the virus has gotten weaker. It is more likely that now that pretty much everybody has had either the vax and/or the virus people have better immunity. During the omicron phase a couple of guys from Harvard came to that conclusion by examining the outcomes of those who weren’t vaxed and never had the disease.

It also could be that later variants tended not to progress to the lungs as much as the original strains and tended to stay more in the upper respiratory system.

 

It really is weird how some people seem more immune. Perhaps working in the medical field you had run across some prior coronavirus cold strains that gave you some immunity.

 

You have a variant ? What do you mean by that ? Do you mean that you caught a sequencing error ?

 

I defer to you on the subject. In ay event, the worst appears to be over thanks to vaccinations.

 

I can tell you don’t spend much time on X. All the vaccinated people have got it or they’re reeling from the effects of Long Covid.

I assume I have a pretty badass immune system from being in the sanitation industry and being exposed to that all the time. I've never tested positive, nor has my wife or son. But my 12 month old daughter did. But I'm pretty sure my wife and son had it based on symptoms. And clearly my wife was in extremely close proximity with my daughter while she had it. I tend to think the take home tests are fairly inaccurate.

 

Strangely, people who never tested were 100% immune to Covid.

No they didn't. There was record turnout and an overwhelming victory for Biden in votes cast. You're thinking of the CINO's, such as yourself, who fail to make a distinction between what one says and what one does.

LOL, ludicrous. You could not be more wrong. COVID vaccines are the most studied in the history of mankind and have repeatedly, unambiguously, been shown to dramatically reduce risk of severe outcomes, death most notable, subsequent to infection.

 

Niggling problem: so-called COVID has never been shown to exist as a replication-competent disease causing organism.

 

It doesn't have to be.

 

So, going forward, we can just shut down the private sector - and literally frighten people to death - with a mental construct ?
