The good thing is overall we seem to be improving and heading in the right direction. As long as we win the games we're supposed to we might be sitting pretty with the committee come March
But we keep hearing bubble, lol. Just ridiculous. No bad losses, a ton of tight losses to good teams, and two huge resume-building wins.
The last 6 games are impressive. Tired at Tamu but still gave a game effort. Pulling that one off would have people talking. Also winning UK at home would have us one of the nation's hottest teams. We are very close. We could be dangerous in tourneys.
He has us as the 5th to last team in before the win. We should move to like 8th or 9th with this win. Some guy on Fox had us as our prior to this win.
11 or 12 wins in conference is on the table. If we can do that, I dont see how we aren't a 6 or 7 seed. We should be borderline ranked next week, I doubt we are, but if we can beat LSU and UGA next week we would be 18-7 and 8-4, we should he ranked going into the Bama game.
Our RPI is 22, KenPom 26, ELO 20, Torvik 17, SOS in the top 20, not a single loss outside of Q1 (by NET, we have 1 Q2 loss in RPI), we aren’t worse than an 8 seed right now. But lose to LSU this week and we are right back on the bubble. Gotta win the ones we are supposed to win now.
Miss state being 31 still just blows my mind. I know they beat Tennessee and Auburn, but they have some ugly losses like Southern and GA Tech. A&M is 60 on this list as well, kind of surprising.
It could but it's unlikely. UK would need a total collapse for that to happen, and that's still a talented team, one that doesn't usually start playing at a high level until about this time of year.
Yes it fluctuates a little with each game but still a good spot, especially if we’re 4th best in the SEC. Pearl had some high praise for us in his postgame
KenPom still has Auburn as first in SEC, thanks to UT losing also. Wild that we just pasted the top KenPom SEC team.
Exactly. This is quickly becoming the best basketball conference in the country. One day the pundits will notice too
Need to win the 2 against Vandy LSU and Missouri and we should be in. Any win against Ga. S Car, and Mama is gravy.
