If only it were so easy as Tucker getting “a check” (presumably you mean from the Russian govt). That would leave no doubt about his allegiances. (at least from a legal perspective it would make him a foreign agent). Unfortunately zero chance it’s that clean. I suspect the financial angle was more just building his “brand” and website.
