Ground out to 3rd ends the inning. Easy one for Brown. 72 pitches so far. Let's get some runs offense.

 

Other than a little control problems, Ava has been all we can ask to this point. Even with 3 walks she is at 70 pitches for 5 innings and that's not bad.

I'm thinking Brown was told to be cautious around Doerr (2 walks). I don't know if she's a good hitter, but CTW is familiar with her being a former Bama player.

 

Kendra pops out to 2b. She's 0-3 tonight. Very unusual.

 

Wallace singles. 1st and 2nd, 2 out, Erickson up.

 

Erickson pops out to end the inning. She's 0-3 as well. Still 1-0 going to the 6th. Precarious lead.

 

Nice outing for Ava. Rothrock now in to try to get the save. Ava Brown goes to 1st base.

 

Oh gosh, putting Rothrock in now with a 1 run lead makes me very nervous. I hope she settles in quickly.

 

Well, that puts an end to Keagan is hurt and can't play.

 

Strikeout gets the first batter she faces.

 

She's facing the top of the Beavers' order, too.

You need to understand. I have followed, watched, and waited for five years for Keagan to go to the circle with "Gators" on her chest.
