Is game being streamed on Espn?

 

No. Only the last game against USF on Sunday. USF broadcasts only their own games.

 

Nobody likes paying extra but I look at it this way. ESPN, as a marketing ploy, has shifted a lot of "premium" stuff in all sports to ESPN+ to force people to buy it. I don't like it but if I was running ESPN I'd probably do the same. It used to be only Slippery Rock's games were on it. No more. I think they raised the price from $9.99 to $11.99, I'll have to check my next VISA statement. But.....I rationalize it this way. What would it cost to simply go to one game every month? Considering ticket price, possibly parking, and concessions for a family it is many, many times more than $11.99. So, I pay and don't complain. The same rationalization applies to Flosoftball. It will cost $30 for this month but you get not only our games (and nowhere else) but you literally get more than a 100 games in various good tournaments....Puerto Vallarta, Mike Campbell, Mary Nutter, Judi Garmin, etc. So, again I don't complain and I pay the money. You can always cancel both ESPN+ and Flosoftball whenever what you want to watch is over. I do carry both for more than one month as ESPN+ will have a ton of softball up to the WCWS. Flosoftball has a fair number of quality travel ball tournaments once they start up in June.
