Awbrin has the better team, by a good margin. That much is clear. But this one sets up well for us to pull the upset at home. UF has an open date midweek, much like Tammy had before playing us, and we were coming off a huge win at UK. Awbrin just came off a big win at Ole Miss and has their biggest rival, Bammer, on Wednesday night, and they lost to Bammer at Bammer so they're really out for revenge.

Look for them to come out a little flat and the Gators jacked up on Saturday.

Let’s hope you’re right, we need a big win after laying that egg at TAMU

I'm also encouraged that we may have the best front court that Johni Broome has faced this season. He's All-SEC, but if we can contain him I like our chances. The last big interior AU faced, Mississippi State, beat them.

I'm still in denial Murph, I was so fired up after KY only to crash and burn the 2nd half against tamu.
Freakin tamu plays like Frank Martin type squads, .......... I HATE that style of play!! U-G-L-Y

    Work to do

    Florida Gators
When you play nothing but extremely close games, any winning streak will be brief. Florida won overtime contests at home against Georgia and on the road at Kentucky only to come up short by one point at Texas A&M. Walter Clayton Jr. and Zyon Pullin each missed what might have been a game winner in the final seconds. At 15-7, the Gators are being projected as a No. 11 seed, one that's powered in part by the offensive rebounding of Tyrese Samuel. (updated Feb. 6)

Not sure we win, but I think we win more than we lose against Auburn if we played them 10 times in the O’Dome.

Yep. What a blown opportunity for a Quad 1 win. At least I care, though. The team has more potential than any we have had in a while.

I got nervous after seeing Auburn handle Ole Miss in Oxford, but just realized that insanely disruptive shot blocker OM has didn’t play in that game.

Are you really counting on Auburn being flat playing us ? Do u realize Pearl hates UF with a passion? He will have them jacked .

Auburn is better than anybody we've played so far. We could beat them if all our guys bring their A game, but it's a long shot even at home, IMO.

Maybe, but Golden is a Pearl protégé and former assistant coach at Auburn.

One reason is beating new money. Another is making a statement. Often the 2 converge.

Only one sure way for Florida to win is if I predict that Auburn wins by double digits. So I will.

I wouldn't call us new money. We are old and established money. Perhaps, our championships are relatively new, but then again they also aren't new. I consider us old money with relatively old, but not new success.
