Yep, that was the only other public tour. I'll never forget noticing in the equipment manager's area that UF was sending a bunch of stuff to some player in Michigan I'd never heard of: Charla Echols. Without naming the sport, the player, or how I knew, I asked in the recruiting forum whether it was within the rules to send merchandise to another school's player. I took *a lot* of flack in the replies for not naming the sport/player -- several posters claimed I made the whole thing up. Charla signed a week later.
Scrappygator is was great to meet you as well. I throughly enjoyed the event. I hope CTW does this annually, if for nothing else to allow the “real” fans to interact with the young ladies. Events like this strengthen the fan base.
I just heard on a Sean Kelly podcast that the number of softball series will not change from the current 8 with the add of Oklahoma and Texas. Only the round robin series will change, Scott Strickland did not give any clues.
Korbe Otis gave great interview on the Sean Kelly No. 20 podcast. I’ll try and paste the interview here. Wow! We really have a good one in her.

Here is a great picture of @sandman70 with the painting he bought at the Silent Auction done by Baylee. Her work is Batseyesque.
Baylee is a talented softball player and a talented artist as well. Painting is added to my Gator softball collection and being hung in a special place of honor!
I called the UGA office for tickets to our April 26-28 series because I couldn’t buy them online last night. It turns out, their whole stadium is general admission, first come, first serve. We should flood their stadium with Gator fans, especially if we’re battling for the Conference title. Athens is just 80 miles from my house. I will be there for at least one game.
Heads up for you all on today’s Pod Up with Shane Matthews on YouTube today, the second half of the show with Tim Walton. Could’ve listened for hours but it was 15 minutes. A FEW highlights….Ava Brown will pitch, field, and bat. Tim said Haeger could pitch and hit but fielding wasn’t super. Ava is unique. Lorenz hit the game winning rbi off Ocasio in the Pan American finals. Talked NIL which I know saddens Tim but when you have a percentage sport( partial scholarships) the NIL money makes a huge difference. Lots of good intel on our players, etc. Go Gators
lg4uf - Loved Aja but in my opinion she was a close second to Hannah. Hannah has unbelievable range, the quickest transfer and release I have ever seen on a female and she always seemed to get the big hit when we needed it. Aja was a very good fielder and an excellent hitter. Just my opinion also. It is nice to have a discussion about 2 super players and super people when very few schools have been blessed with 2 outstanding 2nd basemen.
Yeah, Hannah is my favorite. Aja more of an awesome offensive threat. Kudos to Kelsey too. Now, the Mia Williams era?
