    Further in the thread saw suspect is dead and no more threat as of 15 minutes ago but still to avoid area.

    Yes a SWAT sniper shot the suspect when he put a knife to the throat of a hostage
    I live in ft Myers and this info was through a local news outlet and a news conference by the Lee county Sheriff.
