Watched that TN "Sports Talk J" guy Podcast about the UT lawsuit against the NCAA. He thinks given the recent 9-0 ruling against the NCAA that UT will win. What was stunning is some of the legal arguments the NCAA is using. Apparantly the NCAA's intent was for players to recieve "pizza" money from NIL. So the NCAA sits on their hands for 2 - 3 years and does nothing while NIL goes from selling some "jerseys" to becoming a billionaire auction for the best players. Apparantly the NCAA was too stupid to understand what they were signing off on and the pandoras box they opened. Here is what got me - The NCAA is still CLAIMING that NCAA football is an "AMATEUR" College Sport! OMG!!! So NOW they want to suddenly become enforcers and put the screws to UT, UF and who else? There were NO RULES! I don't like UT but I hope they win. This is CRAZY!
Yeah it was early season and hot, especially on the turf. No piped in music, just bands and fans. No pyro, maybe a release of balloons. Keith Jackson doing play by play. Buffett was still young and a little out there, and his rendition was classic....seemed like it took five minutes lol. And the game wasn't decided till the last play, where UF defense crushed the QB yet again and he couldn't throw clean. Nobody leaves, just standing and cheering. Pell literally skipping into the tunnel, then bringing the guys back out

Hey, maybe you were out there with me. Keith Jackson went over on his intro of the game and one of the production assistants was in front of me with his arms up, like that was going to stop the 300+ Gator Band. That was when we still ran onto the field for pregame, we blew right past him. The field (old Astroturf) felt like 125 degrees through flimsy band shoes and, while I love me some Jimmy Buffet, the dumba$$ forgot the words to the national anthem. That's why it took so long...lol. But...the game made up for all of that!

Lol, I remember my grandad was livid at the National anthem, I was 19 and thought it was hilarious. Pretty sure Jimmy wasn't exactly "focused". Not only forgot the words, but stretched out words about twice as long as normal.
