After watching today's game, I think A&M is another SEC team we're clearly better than. (I'm not joking, btw.)

So, yeah it hurt to lose that one. But credit to A&M for keeping the game ugly in the 2nd half so they could hang close enough to steal one.

I wish we had tried harder to get the ball to our bigs in the 2nd half. I was struck by a play with about 4:20 left in the game where Condon was on the right block with a guy on him that looked to be about a foot shorter. We had the ball on that wing also and no one on A&M was shading over to help with Condon. But we didn't even try to exploit the obvious mismatch with a post entry pass and, instead, just threw the ball out top to reset the offense (and A&M switched a bigger guy back on Condon). That play fit in with the whole disjointed offense of the 2nd half. Very frustrating!

But, again, I give A&M a lot of credit for making us look bad.

Felt like we shot too many 3’s and forgot about Samuel.

 

I noticed that too. Not sure they had anyone that could guard Samuel.

 

2nd half they sure did change, especially late.

 

Agree, Bubble team is what we are until we prove we aren’t. Golden has to outcoach Pearl. I think shutting down their big guy is obviously huge.

I caught part of the second half. The Gators had only a 2 or 3 point lead, with several minutes left, and they were just dribbling the ball to run down the shot clock to 5 or 6 seconds. Did they think that the shot clock was actually how much time was left in the game?

Tough loss for sure. Gotta take down Auburn.

I'm sure 2 overtime games in a row before a road game to Tx A&M didn't take a toll on the team and they just lost because (insert villain) sucks.

 

It doesn't make it onto the broadcast, so people don't know it exists.

 

Imagine the differential if Texas A&M shot decent from the line.

 

The Georgia game had no business going into overtime.

 

Or maybe because (insert villain) started for the other team and played almost the whole game

 

There is a process. Most schools have the AD go to bat for the coaches with the SEC Commissioner. We don't seem to get "home cooking". It was a problem.

I was out of town so just finished the game, knowing the result but not how we got there.
Obvious to me we were exhausted at 12 min to play.
Long road trips within a few hours and back to back ot games. We had a lot of shots that came up short.
So I get the disappointment but this is a good team that’s getting better.
We are going to finish strong and make the dance.
