So undercutting the integrity of our elections with utter bullshit and lies is a “schtick” and “genius” because “angry rural white men” will be more likely to vote? Good grief. Do you even hear what you’re saying anymore beyond picking a team at any price ? Yet somehow the right has convinced itself that it’s the more patriotic side in America.
Trump’s surrogates told Georgia Republicans to not vote in the runoff because it was just another rigged election, geniuses that they are. https://www.npr.org/sections/biden-...orgia-residents-from-voting-in-january-runoff
That's a good question. Do you think the Democrats would be less likely to steal it from a different Republican in 2024? Do you think they would've chosen not to steal it from another Republican in 2020?
That raises another question. Why do Trump supporters think the indictments are just political? Or to put it another way, how many crimes does one person have to commit before authorities are forced to indictment him, like he's daring them to do it? Or what about the axiom that no one is above the law? Especially if one seems to break the law as a way of life.
They say, "A picture is worth a 1000 words." but, really, you didn't need 1000 words just to tell that don't have a good answer.
You seem very proud to be a sheep, not think for yourself & be programmed by a BIG GOV con man. 'ats my answer.
So, questioning the logic of the OP makes me a sheep? The original question was hypothetical and so is mine. If one assumes that the Democrats cheated Trump is there some reason to think that simply having a different Republican on the ballot would cause them not to cheat?
So, 1026 words and you still haven't come up with a good answer? Perhaps you should read this. Ad hominem - Wikipedia ...Typically this term refers to a rhetorical strategy where the speaker attacks the character, motive, or some other attribute of the person making an argument rather than attacking the substance of the argument itself.
I come here to engage with those you can think & to ad hominem & it looks like I'm all out of thinkers.
As I said, it is what it is. This is politics. To make some sort of moral equivalence out of it denies oneself the pleasure of appreciating how shrewd it is. He’s creating a sense of urgency. It’s a savvy sales tactic. I’m glad he’s doing it. We need his leadership.
They are clearly political. If he was not running again, these indictments don’t take place. There is little to be gained by prosecuting an ex-president who has ridden off into the sunset at nearly 80 years old. Especially when your two impeachments flopped. That and the fact it’s all nothing burgerism.
Things like storing U.S. classified documents in a hotel ballroom and bathroom (not to mention refusing to return them to the government) are "nothing burgerism." This is why it's actually stupid to argue with Trump supporters.
And anyone who shows, what you consider to be, an insufficient amount of disdain for Trump is not a thinker?
