I don’t think he is close to Pullin as a defender. Pullin stays between his man and the basket. I don’t see any of our other guards doing the same, although I reserve on Aberdeen.

Pullin has been our most consistent player, game to game for sure. But Golden usually puts Kugel on the other team's best scorer and he holds his own. Overall, our defense is bad and I just don't see any of our other guys playing as well on the defensive end. We just see it differently, I guess.

I wouldn't know, I stopped after Calc 3, a class to which I was so devoted, arriving late and sitting in the back, that I didn't notice my professor at UF was blind until the end of the semester, lol.

Hah, good story. I failed DiffEq and lost my NROTC scholarship for a semester. All summer long, I drove to Gainesville to beg the professor. Finally he broke down and said: "How can I not fail you, you had the lowest grade in the class?"

    I didn't have an answer.

The correct answer would have been, "Prof, grading on a curve is morally indefensible."

I had him for Diff EQ. I went to his office to ask about an exercise and found he had the whole book memorized. He opened it to the right page, flipped it around and pointed something out to me.

I loved my DiffEq teacher at UF. Dr. Thomas Bowman was pretty much the only prof at UF that I became friends with. He tried to get me to switch my major to math. He loved Gator Basketball. Tragically, a couple years after I had his classes I went to visit and was told he was sick. He had some sort of brain cancer and passed away in 1988...but he definitely touched my and many other lives at UF.

Yep, I remember him doing that, which along with his perfect penmanship on the chalkboard belied his disability. Here's his page at UF Theral Moore | Department of Mathematics While looking this up I see that he passed away a year ago.
