That is fine and I respect that you apologized to him. I myself have never served in the military and I was just wondering your perspective as a military man. It is easier for those of us that will never carry out the military option to say that is what needs to be done. I just want to know when is enough, enough, and what is the course of action to take.
I think you are, he was holding up the military unclassified war plans to Iran to a group of journalists, acknowledging they were highly classified, secret and he didn't declassify them. What more do you want?
Well, you stated that the plan had to change since Trump revealed them. Holding up some documents vs discussing and revealing what they say are entirely 2 different things. What more do you want?
If you were planning an attack on Iran and journalists had been exposed to the plans, would you assume that nothing was revealed that could jeopardize our military? That seems like an invitation for disaster.
I don't recall any of the Jounalist saying that looked at any of the documents. I think you are trying to conflate your hatred of DT into anything related to him has to be the worst possible outcome.
If military lives were on the line, and Trump waived war plans in front of journalists who may have looked through them, I think you would have to assume he revealed them to others. This was fortunately recorded. I think if you don't take it as a serious risk then maybe you are blinded by Trump.
I don't know about Iran battle plans, but Trump could have told those people that they, or anyone else, were welcome to go to Mar-a-Lago and read some classified documents while using the john. Bathroom reading material. That's service with a smile.
You have to err on the side of caution and assume info in those docs is compromised until proven otherwise. Yet he is adored by millions anyway.
True, but it doesn't make your opinions less valid. Civilians are in charge of the military, and citizens have every right to say how they feel the military should be utilized.
Yes, I'm sure that paper he reportedly waved around for a couple of seconds in front of the reporter made it impossible for us to hit Iran. But the current POTUS and Defense Secretary telegraphing exactly what our response would be was a nothing burger, amirite?
I didn't say I wanted to put boots on the ground or snuff out every tunnel in Iran, did I? And if things were being done my way, the unfortunate attack in Jordan never happens, because Iran would be dead broke, Saudi Arabia would be getting even richer and Israel wouldn't be lighting up Gaza. But I'm not in charge. But I can vote for the guy who was in charge the last time everything I just typed was true. Ultimately, I think you should understand that if Iran could hurt us in a meaningful way militarily, they would have already done so by now or attempted to do so by now. They are by far the highest on the pecking order when it comes to designated state sponsors of terrorism, so if they had a chance, they would have taken it by now. They're like the bully seeking relevance on the playground. Bop them on the nose and they're done.
First, I never said it made it impossible to hit Iran. Second, if Trump waved them around to random journalists, how do you know he didn't allow other people to look at it? If you were responsible for military lives how would you treat it? Third, Biden has said he has made up his mind how he is going to respond. He has never said what that response would be.
