They should have done their protesting and harassment out on the sidewalk. There's no reason that other offices in that building needed to be subjected to their zealotry.

Since they were in that building, maybe they could have picked up a job application somewhere.

In this case, after watching the video, I think I agree with you. However, I am not sure that physically being in the building is breaking the law. It was sitting in front of the door that was the issue.

No, it wasn't from a twitter feed. I came across it elsewhere.

I know; but before my daughter moved there I would have presumed they, and every European countries, had more free speech rights than Russia.

They were intentionally breaking a federal law specifically designed to stop people from doing what they were doing.

There needs to be consequences. 12 years seems a bit much, but some time should be served.

    Law and order!

I’ve always been curious how and where people find the articles they post, especially when they claim to seldom, if ever, read the site the article came from.

I wouldn't give them a prison sentence, but they did commit a crime. They're allowed to protest outside abortion clinics. They're not allowed to go in a private building and try to block access.

I suspect none of these people have ever been convicted of a crime. I see no purpose of putting them through the trauma of prison. A criminal record, probation and community service is burden enough.

Sounds like your everyday peaceful protesting.

It was a peaceful protest. There was no violence, but the people did not move when police officers asked them to. They should have, but they didn’t.

I don't see why a record and probation are necessary. If nothing else, they should get some free merchandise, no?

Hmmmmm... that's crazy. I can't think of any other moments in American history when police officers have asked peaceful protesters to move and they didn't. We gone full nutso, y'all!

I would not jail them, but they should spend several years on probation with a condition they can't be within 1000' of a women's health care facility.

Your terminology is wrong and ignorant. I think I have found another to put back on ignore.

Sometimes you just have to shake your head....and lock your doors.
