If they were alsylum seekers, then they were here legally, too, right? ... that's why I'm saying deport them all ... let's be fair about the process.

If they were...agreed. But these aren't. That's what countries like Venezuela are doing...deporting their worse element. I'm all for legal immigration and bringing in good citizens...these dudes aren't. There is no defending this.

Deporting Americans (citizens) is never going to happen. Would I mind our worse be sent somewhere else...sure, but who is going to take them? American citizens have more rights here than those that aren't. Thats never changing... Again, don't see the argument. These guys are here illegally.

I believe he is. Don't see it in the article he linked. Apologies if I have missed that somehow.

What evidence is there of Venezuela "deporting" other than fairly standard deportations (i.e., sending immigrants found to be illegally in Venezuela back to their country of origin)?

I think your sarcasm was missed by some, even those who have Hispanics mowing their lawns, picking their fruit, etc., etc., etc., etc.

What about the police who brutally attack citizens with little or no cause? I'm not defending the guy in NY, but just calling attention to your broad, reflexive brush. Many on the right reflexively jumped to defend Chauvin. I'm willing to bet you did, too.

Since it seems whataboutism is ok today. Curious your thoughts Michael brown and furguson. Any body reflexively jump to condemn the cop or broad brushes on that one? Or that one not count since there is a ‘broader lesson’ to learn. I’m willing to bet you did. See how that works

Looks like you're also reflexive, or at least predictable. I strive not to be, but rather to judge each case on its unique facts. In cases like Michael Brown, where accounts of what occur vary, I always give the cops the benefit of the doubt. I've dealt firsthand with many cops. The overwhelming majority are professional. All of them on patrol deal with circumstances that would scare the shit out of most everyone.

    But you're right - I'm off topic.

If they were asylum seekers sure, if they are US citizens they get due process and deporting citizens isn’t part of the penal code.

Also why did you mention the color of one group of people’s skin in your post?
    Are you racist?

So you don’t know these cops and your original comment was just idiotic.

It should be. 23 and Me can be used to decide where to send them.

Yes, I'm a white guy that's racist against white guys. You got me.
