Not to go too off topic, but didn’t Cowherd also say something about how about 50% of men never experience intimacy from a woman.

I find that number really hard to believe.

I can see how the top percentage of men (attractive, fit, rich, popular, etc.) get a disproportionate share of the intimacy. And maybe the bottom 10%-20% get a tough deal… but come on.

If you define intimacy as “closeness” and consider it to encompass platonic relationships, the vast majority of men have a living mother, sister, and/or platonic female friend who’ve given them a hug when they’ve needed it before.

And if you define intimacy in a sexual/romantic context, even if you’ve had absolutely zero luck in the lady department, if you really want to get lucky, a trip to Vegas isn’t that expensive.

Frankly, I think women have a much tougher deal in the dating department than men, particularly in their 30s and older. Women have the disadvantage that men are incredibly superficial. Men have the advantage that they can attract wonderful women through a variety of forms of self improvement and personality. The dating game gets tough for everyone as they age, but odds are, no matter who you are, there’s somebody your age out there for you. Yes, even nursing homes. Those are the only places that can compete with college campuses in terms of transmission of STIs.
