I think he was the 3rd highest rated player in our signing class. Shemar James is probably our only lock as a LB starter, assuming he's healthy. Derek Wingo and Jaden Robinson will probably be in the mix. But I expect Chiles and Myles Graham to get an opportunity for significant playing time, even if they don't start.

Their time is coming. I hope they rise fast. We need lb play badly.

Yep - It will be interesting to what Mannie Nunnery does. He played a lot last year, especially after James got hurt and kind of proved how much we missed Shemar.

3rd highest by ESPN and 247 (Not Rivals, nor On3).
Of course, I trust ESPN's rankings over the others.

I agree. We've got some serious talent coming in at linebacker. I hope they can contribute right away.

I have much more hope for Graham since he'll be practicing with the Gators this spring.

Just crystal balling, I see all the linebackers on the roster getting playing time.

I have friends who follow and know Graham. Graham could star at running back from what I hear. He is a superbly talented, one of a kind athlete. A baller. I would be surprised if he doesn't make an impact right away.

At least a special teams starter with his size, speed and tackling ability.

The loss of James in the LB corps killed our defense last season. We need the LBs to step up!

His dad was a hell of a LB at Mariner HS too. His uncle was a good RB and Safety too until he got caught up with the wrong crowd. Talent runs in the family

Dad was also a great hoops player. He and Teddy Dupay were the starting guards at Mariner.

Absolutely. That's how Wilbur Marshall started his UF career. He was a backup TE as a freshman behind two of the best TEs in UF history but was the leading tackler on special teams. Made history during his first game as a freshman, defense running USC RBs down from behind on toss-sweeps and terrorizing their QB.

I'm usually not optimistic about production from incoming freshmen who didn't get in for spring but Tre Wilson turned that notion upside down. Graham will get a big head start but I think both of them will be getting meaningful reps by late season.

Perhaps will be part of a goal line offensive package at fullback used to block or plow into line for that yard to get the TD? 235 pound RB down by goal line to get our best players in specific game situations in the future. Lot of great two way athletes in this class. I’m told Baugh may actually be a better LB prospect than a RB as well.
