Huge! I think Kentucky plays a style we lle. Even if they are extremely talented… it’s not an awful matchup. I’m excited to see how we do in a rock fight versus Tamu.
I think this years UK team shoots a hell of a lot better than most UK teams I’ve seen. They have two guards that are scary good but so do we.
TAMU is when we let our Aussie Rules beast loose...a perfect game for Condon to go off on the offensive boards
I like what Condo and Samuel can do in that scrum, with Handles coming in to get the tip-in buckets. He has a real knack for that. Haugh is a pretty good battler too. He seems to get a little bit tougher each game.
Big Sam is a beast in the blocks. Pullen and Clayton? Best backcourt I've seen at UF in awhile. So happy for UF, hopefully this is a big deal win on selection Sunday.
Auburn, A&M, S Carolina, Alabama, UT - They all coming, but this quad 1 win against UK on the road, combined with a 4 game conference win streak, is a HUGE confidence builder. Could be a real "corner turner" for the Gators. What makes this so nice is, IMO, this club is GETTING BETTER!!! Pretty excited on this end!
They seem to understand how to transfer game responsibility much better. If Pullin is able to get to the basket or hit the mid-range, they just keep doing it until he misses a couple. If Clayton is hitting the 3, they keep giving him the rock in catch and shoot or screen opportunities. If Samuel is able to bully down low, they feed him. Richard is not scared of the moment. They were winning early in the season, but it was more one dimensional, and haphazard. They are playing team ball rn. They can't get full of themselves, though. A&M on the road will be a tough matchup.
Well put. There are many things to like about this team. I am enjoying the reality this club does not struggle to score as much as UF clubs of the recent past. Numerous offensive options. Imagine if Condo and Hanlo can get that 12' - 15' shot working consistently. They both have decent form.
I think this team is really rounding in to shape as the season wears down. Like the fact that we are very diverse with somebody different stepping up every night. God I hope we make the big dance because I think if we play well, we can play with just about anybody. Go gators!
Yep, I want Handlogten to work on his low-post moves and a hook shot in the off-season. Currently, his scoring is limited to pick-and-rolls (which he's good at) and tip-ins. He can be a first-rounder if he gets an array of shots he can make.
Hanlo did some damn fine work against UGA! Big numbers and he knew he was under the microscope. So much to like about this team. I think the whole board realizes the potential of this team, and to watch them begin to realize it is SOOOOO much fun! Hope coach G lets the air out of the ball though. Can't rest on KY laurels, have a HUGEEEE one coming against tamu. If the Gators pull that one off..........LOOK OUT!
Exactly, and even Handlogten got in the action last night. We have a legit 4-5 guys that can really attack the offensive glass. Richards gets a couple here and there too
Auburn game is sold out. Should be a barn burner. We might be a bit tired at tamu. If we have good energy for it that would be impressive.
