Tough call on Cal. He is very good but correct me if I'm wrong, he went from almost invincible to really good. He was positioned to be the Saban of College basketball. Tough sport even with all the advantages. Billy and Cal matchups were classic.
Definitely. Swampgas is a notch or two worse with negativity but I think that is again because of volume of traffic there. I don't purport to be an overly positive poster over there because I believe you can support a coach/team win or lose but still see problems with the program. As long as people post concerns constructively they shouldn't be considered a "complainer" in my opinion. With that said there are a few people who never miss a chance to chime in with sarcastic negative takes at every turn which is obnoxious. Sadly, for as negative as swampgas can be it is worlds apart from the awful forums and media groups on other pages because there is little to no moderation of them. Swampgas is much much better than any other forum in my opinion.
"Kentucky has one good win all season" It's at least 2 good wins this season since the on the road vs UF.
Sheppard is a heck of a player! Maybe he needs to read those comments and transfer to the good guys after the season!!!
as are Todd and Cal they're still a bunch of whinners, even the "good ones" posting here. Most programs would revel in UK's success, but according to one pUKe fan here, they're supposed to be better than "very good" this year, hence their expecations are through the roof.
I haven’t read this thread or obviously the UK site, however this is what it should have said. Florida played a damn good ballgame and had a great game plan to make Kentucky shoot over Florida. Florida guards played a great game and shot really well and ran the offense and put us in bad positions. Florida deserved this win as they continued to make big shot after big shot. They made the plays and we did not. I will add just as I said back in 2015. I want Calipari gone as he will never win anything of substance at UK.

Cricky...I just posted some of these BEFORE I saw your post... Sorry, if some are the same but I will leave mine up to reinforce the fan's outcry in this game. Some of the best ones had expletives, so I left them out.
I used to sit on the 12th row on the visitor side in BHG stadium. Visiting team had the first 10 rows. One random game in 2007 to 2010 where we were beating them by 30+ and we were insulting them for their lack of football ability. All their fans found our insults funny. I threw out "And we own you in Basketball too" and almost got in a fight. At that point WE DID own them in basketball. Kentucky basketball fans are funny.
Hope the wheels don't fall off at UK after this demoralizing loss as we need them to stay as a Quad 1 win.
Mike White represented UF well as a solid coach who never embarrassed us. Having said that, you have to go back to Captain Ahab to find a coach whose brand of ball I less liked watching. Boring, conservative and destined to lose leads… repeatedly. People forget that Donovan was a terrible game day coach when he came to UF. Our inbound plays were nonexistent and he regularly got schooled strategically. He learned. I view Golden as potentially on the trajectory of a young coach who is very talented and still learning/building. Plus, I like the brand of aggressive ball, although we need to turn up the defensive intensity! Excited for UF hoops and would not say that if MW were still here. Just one opinion.
