Speaking of, Kentucky had 14 blocked shots last night. It is amazing that this didn't seem to faze us in any way.
Speaking of coaching: I'm not sure if this is true; I didn't notice during the broadcast - but I just watched a 10 minute highlight reel at lunch and noticed that Kentucky had been able to iso one of our bigs on their guards several times in the first half. Their guards would abuse our bigs for easy scores. I only saw it happen once in the second half. Did anyone notice if we stopped / limited switching in these scenarios after halftime?
I have it on good authority (this forum) that no gator basketball coach ever calls a needed timeout so I refuse to believe this drivel. lol
A lot of big (good) plays to recall. The play (actually 2 plays) that stuck out to me most was Clayton's block of a Reeves layup on one end and then he followed it up with a transition 3-pointer on the other end. Seemed like a key play at the time. Can someone remind me what part of the game that happened? I tried to fast forward and backward the DVR a few times to find that sequence after the game, but couldn't.
Yup. I don’t see how UF wins that game if he didn’t call that time out. It was a great decision. A game winning decision. Good thing Clayton missed, though. If he had made it and we ended up losing, I’d fear for Coach’s safety.
