There was once this guy Tom Brady who used to play football. I remember he was married to a supermodel who actually made more money than he did. I recall that the cameras would routinely focus on his supermodel wife whenever they could. Those were the days …
In 2014 Kanye was woke and Taylor was an Aryan princess to white nationalist types, 10 years later, well ...
Just give Taylor Swift a rest please. I'm glad she makes so many people happy, just stop cramming her down my throat please. And stop treating anyone irritated by this Swiftymania as a misogynistic incel (Cowherd). That sort of thing makes me think that you want people to care. It's a deliberate effort at provocation to try and stir the pot in Cowherd's case. And it's convenient for Democratic messaging because it gives them a free pass to prop up an ally (albeit a lukewarm one) while simultaneously lumping in Republicans with incels. It's cynical and obnoxious, but it's win-win for Cowherd as a media personality and it's a win-win for Democrats from a messaging perspective if people buy it.
Don't GAS about the rest but Spike Lee jawing with opposing players going down the court is quite funny. Worth the price of admission.
Right? And nobody really cared. It's almost like the wealthy attractive career woman doesn't have much to do with it, but the starpower and cultural influence does.
That was a long time ago. If that video of Tom Brady kissing his kid on the lips came out today, it would create a new Qanon.
There was a lot of star power with Brady and his wife. But Taylor Swift is in a whole different level at this point in time. Having a daughter makes it a bit easier to understand, but she has a cult following that I don’t recall seeing in a long, long time. And the NFL, FOR SURE, is capitalizing on that star power, even if she doesn’t want to be in the spotlight. The NFL has increased its fan base exponentially, not to mention sales of its products. Put it this way, young women who never followed football before suddenly are not only watching football, but talking football.
If it took Taylor Swift to get you to tune in, the second she and Kelce break up, the Swifties are gone. I'm not saying there's no incentive there. I'm saying it's tiresome. And there's a whole lot of football fans rolling their eyes over this. And Democrats and the media are lumping them in as this "basket of deplorables" or "incels" because they feel Taylor Swift can be helpful to the Biden Campaign. They want to add to their coalition, and they see mobilizing the Swifties against Trumpers as an opportunity. If you don't like any of this, that doesn't make you crazy. You're probably normal. Democrats and the media are just the slime of the Earth and they hate you.
Swifties are people who aren't generally football fans. Her being at games is exposing football to many more people who wouldn't normally watch. And it's likely that some of these young girls and gay guys will become fans themselves. Even if Kelce and Swift break up. Unless you think football isn't a good enough sport to attract new fans from different demographics? And all we, as football fans, have to endure to grow the game's fanbase is 30 to 45 seconds of a 3 hour plus broadcast of a young, hot, successful young lady? What's the big issue? There should be none. But there are likely guys out there who don't want young girls and gay guys as football fans. These are also the same guys who are afraid of strong, successful women. Why else would guys not want to see more fans watching football?
I am convinced you simply do not have the intellectual capacity to comprehend what I'm saying. And I dumbed it down quite a bit for you, junior.
Hey, fat guys have our niches....though I suspect you are wrong. If the offensive line could leverage the D-line, there would be no need for the "shove" part. I suspect, after seeing Kelce, the "shove" was invented because of a very out of shape and poor quality offensive line.
1. I don't want a Super Bowl watch party to have the feel of a Bachelor watch party featuring Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, or a Taylor Swift infomercial. 2. I doubt these new fans stay the second they break up. 3. Aside from the fact that I don't think the OP is "afraid" of strong and successful women considering that she's a woman. Considering that I'm still not entirely sure what a woman is. And considering the fact Taylor Swift is nowhere close to the first strong and successful woman to be featured repeatedly on live sports broadcasts as a member of the audience... I'd say there's quite a bit wrong with your hypothesis there.
Maybe I will until Taylor Swift dates someone in that area, which is probably only a matter of time before that happens.
I haven't been to a big Super Bowl party in quite a few years, but when I did, lots of folks weren't paying much attention to the game and were more interested in the commercials, the halftime show, and/or networking or catching up with old friends. That was fine with me, in part, because I don't get emotional about the NFL. In contrast, I only watch Gator games with serious fans and only made an exceptions for non Gator fans who were willing to actively pull for the Gators that day. I don't fault hard core NFL fans for taking NFL games as seriously as I take Gator games, but I suspect the hard core NFL fans are probably not watching games at the types of parties I'm thinking about.
Yeah, I basically meant when you think "football fan," this isn't the first image that comes to mind: When you think "football fan," you think something closer to a construction worker with a 5 o clock shadow and a beer gut. That guy is not Taylor Swift's market.
Wonder if Bootsie’s gonna ax this wokeness Are you ready for it? Taylor Swift course hits UF Honors Program - The Independent Florida Alligator.
