I am too confused as to which thread to make fun of Taylor swift fearmongers in...

What in the Hell does this have to do with cancel culture?

The biggest musical star in the world isn’t cancelled.

There’s not even really a mainstream effort to try and cancel her. Who is demanding the Swiftys abandon Taylor Swift and who is demanding advertisers drop her?

Nobody on the right cares (in a negative way) that she’s successful. Good for her. Many are just tired of hearing about her. Because it turns out, classic men who like football aren’t exactly her market. Girly young women, gay dudes, and probably to a lesser degree playboys (using Taylor Swift specifically to attract women) are her primary market.

84% approval rate. Not a lot of classic men in the country I guess. Classic coke failed too so maybe its the label?

Taylor Swift scores top net favorability rating among polled public figures

Have you seen pictures of a Taylor Swift concert?

A fun game you can play is “locate the male in the audience.”

I don’t care about approval ratings. I’d say I have a positive opinion about her, even though her music isn’t my thing. I’m apathetic at worst. My negative opinion is how shes everywhere in the media and social media, which isn’t really her fault.

Not when they're not that attractive and have a way of attracting tons of media attention and social and cultural attention at the expense of football.

    Enough already.

She’s the biggest pop star in a long time. What pop star of that level of popularity isn’t spattered all over media and social media?

    That's exactly my point.

Considering that her market is primarily gay dudes and girly girls, it just gets exhausting if this isn't your thing.

At the expense of football? Did they actually cut away from a play in action to look at her?

So your big issue is she really isn’t all that attractive? If she was a pro Trump blonde bombshell would you still be complaining?

Exhausting? How? 25 seconds of coverage is triggering?

Based on his vacillations and goalpost moves, he doesn't seem to know what his big issue really is. It's different in almost every post.

Which might lead someone to conclude that his big issue is simply that conservative media has told him he should have an issue with her, and so he has an answer but is still searching for the question.

The issue is she publicly supported Biden 4 years ago and may do so again. I guess that disqualifies you from NFL TV coverage.

No, but you're at a bar, on social media, watching ESPN, watching Fox Sports... if you talk about the Chiefs game, you're talking about Taylor Swift.

    Can you read?

No. My big issue is that she sucks all of the air out of the room due to her starpower (not her fault and I don't blame her, I blame the media mostly).

If it was a pro Trump blonde bombshell I probably wouldn't be complaining, because she probably wouldn't detract from the game as much. When people see Kate Upton at a baseball game they pretty much say "hey look it's Kate Upton, she's hot, Justin Verlander's a lucky guy," and they move on. You don't get tons of articles about how she saved baseball, you don't get Dems propping her even more to solicit a Joe Biden endorsement in an election year, you don't get all of this talk about how big she is, etc.

It's like the whole Riley Cooper-Tim Tebow roommate thing. Did you guys know that Riley Cooper was Timmy's roommate? I don't know if they mentioned it on any of the broadcasts. :D

So 15 seconds of Kate Upton is perfect but 25 seconds of Taylor Swift is exhausting.

    Thanks for clarifying.
