Does your Florida Drivers License disclose your gender? I just looked at 4 different FDLs and none list “gender”. Two of the licenses were issued 7 months ago, so they are pretty recent.

This is an arena where two sides are galaxies apart. One side has no clue what the other side is talking about, and the other side refuses to answer questions and just gets mad at those who don't understand them. The FL DL has "sex" on it, not "gender" - whether you take gender to mean the same thing as sex or you don't, it's "sex" on the DL. We're constantly being bombarded with the idea that "gender is not the same thing as sex." If that's true, why are we trying to change "sex" on the DL? I could see an argument to list both (probably the most informative in terms of identification) for those who choose to use these terms as different (recognizing that not everybody agrees they are different), but I can't see an argument to replace "sex" with this new concept of "gender." That doesn't help everybody from an identification perspective. If there are no objective standards, then what's the point of listing it on your driver's license? Go GATORS! ,WESGATORS
