here is what surprised me: First road victory vs top 10 team since 2003 is legitimately a shocking stat to me.
"Also, Samuel has to stop wasting offensive possessions taking 3’s. Every possession is valuable in these big games and he wasted 2." For sure. He shoots a low % on 3-pointers. He's much better from 15 feet in.
Looked at stat line. UF 81 percent from free throw line to UK’s 64 percent. Great road victory when haven’t traveled well. We own OT this year. Hopefully gives team growing confidence. Go Gators!
One of the best plays of the entire games as far as I'm concerned.....along with WCJ's 3 to send us to OT....that was a good one too!
The score doesn't reflect it, but I really liked our consistent defensive intensity tonight. Had some lapses, but didn't string them together. Played really good team D tonight.
That stat, of course, doesn't include wins over Top 10 teams on neutral courts in tournaments or other games.
Handles seemed to have less minutes. Was that a matchup decision? I saw him grabbing his shoulder and grimacing at one point. Looked like the shoulder was taped up under his shirt. Anything going on there?
Agreed. Kentucky is ELITE offensively and a couple of their possessions tonight I just laughed because there is nothing you could do to defend that. But I thought besides switching a bit too much and gambling too much creating 5 on 4 chances, they played well defensively.
Saw the shoulder thing as well. But he played 23 minutes, not his top minutes on the year, but more than he played vs. Miss State, Tenn, Ole Miss, and at home vs. Kentucky. I think we are just really deep.
Don't look now but Clayton is shooting 80% FTs for the season....after his abysmal start looks like he might be getting back on track
