Personally, I’m not a big fan of her music but respect the fact that a whole bunch of people don’t share my opinion. She does seem like a really good and generous person who donates millions of dollars each year to a range of worthwhile charities and anyone who does that is good in my book.

If I were on her team or even his, I’d be worried about possible over-exposure. But he’s playing football, and she’s been touring. They are both at the apex of their professions. I am not saying they don’t like most of the attention, but it’s not like they’re personally spamming us with all of the content about them. It’s a perfect storm with the celebrity, culture, music, sports, love story, and political angles rolled into one.

And NFL OLs need to be "overweight" due to the size of DLs. Some of the OLs drop a ton of weight in the year or two after they retire because they don't need to maintain that size anymore.

Oh good grief. Have you been to an NFL game lately? They have a marketing deal with the Department of Defense and about half the in game entertainment is dedicated to honoring military heroes and veterans.

 

They’re definitely taking advantage of the clout, but I don’t necessarily have much of a problem with that.

It’s how the media handles it and blows it out of proportion (as usual).
