Anyone notice Georgia players (Melendez, DeLoach) talking trash to coach Golden, in the hand shake line. they were saying something and coach Hovde was giving them the big time stink eye… Anyone at the game notice?
At the end of the broadcast I saw Golden spending extra time with Melendez but patting him on the back and moving on when he was done, didn't see a stink eye, but again I was watching on tv
I did see Melendez talking trash right to Golden after a made shot and Golden taking it up with the ref, and ref in turn taking it up with White.
Talk as much trash as you like, but end result is a W for the Gators and an L for the Bulldogs. No Gator chomping celebration for UGA on that day.
I noticed Golden and Melendez having a conversation during the handshake but it didn't look tense to me. Maybe Hovde was put off by his behavior during the game but I would guess it was more of a sorry about that/good game type of thing.
I doubt it was trash talk during the post game handshakes. Words might have been exchanged but more like "Great game" from Golden and "Thanks" from Melendez.
