    IRS contractor who leaked tax records of Donald Trump and Elon Musk jailed for 5 years (msn.com)

    Charles Littlejohn, a former contractor for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), has been sentenced to five years in prison after leaking the tax records of Donald Trump, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk.

    Littlejohn, 38, was responsible for leaking the tax details of ex-President Donald Trump to The New York Times and revealing the financial secrets of billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk to ProPublica. He was sentenced on Monday in a federal court in Washington.

    The judge, Ana C. Reyes, heard how Littlejohn had "abused his position by unlawfully disclosing thousands of Americans' federal tax returns and other private financial information to multiple news organizations."

    Before receiving his sentence, Littlejohn, who is 38 years old and grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, told the court that he "acted out of a sincere but misguided belief that I was serving the public."

    This is great news. Maybe he gets some extra treatment from his cell mates

    If Biden were like Trump he would pardon the guy or at a minimum commute his sentence.
