some might choose this one. Wuerffel to Doering (youtube.com) I heard this on the radio...Mick was pure Gold that night.
I was there for the Auburn 66 game - and would pick it again. But a close second would be to be in Athens again - so great a feeling!
Was there for 1997 FSU game. Would have loved to have been at the UF v USCe game in 2006! Remember it well in my living room!
27-0 vs. Georgia. We helped the frat boys carry the goal post out of the stadium. The cops just smiled.
Mine would be the 1963 win in Tuscaloosa. It was the first really, really big Gator victory I can remember. Would have loved to win the next year too...
1997 Sugar Bowl against halfassu. Almost went but chickened out. Big regret. Close second would be any beatdown of the mutts. I'm 0 for 9 attending that damn game.
Not one but 1984-1991, 1996-2001 seasons. Missed the vast majority, if not all, of those due to being underwater. Was underway on USS Tennessee in 1998 when UF finally lost to them. They woke me up just to tell me.
September 8, 1990 Florida 50 Oklahoma State 7 The first game of the greatest era of Florida football. What a glorious day that was, even more so thinking back on it now.
One of the 6 worst nights of my life. Thanks for playing. My wife said she never heard me cuss so much… and I don’t cuss (that much)
October 12, 1991. UTKnoxville at UF. Gator Country. Evening. 35-18 UF. BHG ROCKING. Keys rattling. SEC SEC SEC SEC!!!!!!! NO ONE gave us a shot. "UF can't handle Chris Mims and Chuck Smith." We got after them for 60 minutes. THAT was the night we arrived, and we planned on staying, and we stayed.
1960-Gators 18 Georgia Tech 17. Ray Graves first year as head coach and I will always believe this game set the table for future success. Graves went for two, Libertore to McBeth to seal the upset.
