I have little doubt that the MAGA hat wearing members of the Cult of the Donald probably believe Crispi's statement. Keep in mind they are the same people who believe that Trump really won the 2020 presidential election and that it was stolen from him through massive fraud and that the convicted January 6th insurgents are innocent hostages and that the January 6th insurrection was a really a false flag operation perpetrated by ANTIFA and undercover FBI agents.
