Makes me think of that old intelligence community statement: “we have to be right every time, the bad guys only need to be right one time.”

Well, but if the thought is that the next one would come from there, then "they" have been wrong every time. I mean, if somebody were a terrorist, why would they choose to cross a heavily militarized border instead of a much longer and much less militarized border on the other side?

Because it’s way harder to get into Canada than the countries to the south….?
There are 10’s of thousands of people crossing the northern border either. Way easier to get though with the masses.

By your theory, one would think they would far prefer to go into a major international airport, since a lot more people cross the border at that location. However, I would bet that masses of people entering the country is not a benefit, as it also leads to better security at those locations and more probability of being detained.

No an airport particularly in the US has heavy security.
BTW the US southern border may be “heavily militarized “ in some areas most of it is just empty space.

McVeigh was one man. trump encourages these people to lash out in his support so that others know not to challenge him. all these swatting incidents now occurring aren't by accident.

Yeah, heavy security, as opposed to that border where we have erected billions of dollars of infrastructure and spend billions each year having tens of thousands of people watch it. That isnt heavy security?

Mass lobotomies would allow Dems to speak to you on your level.

The only freedoms you lack under Democrats are the type where you can get away with murdering people with your buddies for "jogging while black."

If I knew who this twit was, I'd report him to the FBI. He seriously gives me the "mass shooter" vibe.

Hopefully he is just a big troll having a laugh, but if he truly believes the tripe he posts he has some serious anti-social issues.

I don't want to get into a pi$$ing match with you about who is worse, but don't you think the rhetoric of "Destroy Democracy", "he is basically Hitler", "Putin lover" that the left is prescribing to Trump just as detrimental?

Normally I'd agree that invoking Godwin's law is a losing proposition. Godwin's law is eventually, someone will invoke a person is just like Hitler as a way to win an argument against said person. However, in the case of Trump, there's nothing normal. He's literally quoting Mein Kamph when he uses phrases like, "poisoning the blood," and has said he'd put immigrants in mass detention camps, which sound a lot like concentration camps. If it talks like a fascist, and goose steps like a fascist, then we should call it exactly what it is...a fascist.

Given that Trump has actually tried to destroy our democracy, I don't think saying he wants to destroy democracy is out of bounds. And he's said a lot of nice things about Putin, and he's recently very clearly mimicked some of Hitler's rhetoric... So maybe if Trump doesn't want to be compared to those guys he shouldn't say the stuff he says?

The two responses from my post are exactly what I expected. I'm not defending Trump but keep up the rhetoric and you may get to see what you all seem to want the most!! Sounds a lot like " I'm rubber, your glue, what bounces off me sticks to you".
