At least in court they have to establish standing, and establish a basis for their claim. Here, the mere lack of written authorization (nm all the issues that could call the current tribe's leadership into question vis a vis whatever relics may be on display....) seems to suffice to supress... What's more, the precedent could prove catastrophic.
Not sure exactly what that means. Museums are considered on the left? And, if so, there's a problem with regulating your own side?
I find learning history from dead people far less offensive than killing animals to help people live until all they can do is sit in their own shit in a nursing home.
I saw Jason Kelce drinking a bud light at the Bills game last weekend on TV. Maybe Taylor Swift approves.
That's nothing. I've seen dirty pictures of Taylor Swift on the web. I wonder if Travis Kelce approves.
Do you honestly think this was a conservatives idea? The way I see it is yeah at one point different tribes owned the land and lost it ultimately to us. Someday someone will take it from us again. It’s the circle of life.
I thought conservatives were big on property rights? If someone stole your stuff and put it on display in their house and wouldnt give it back, you probably wouldnt be a fan of that.
Sure if a band of natives show up and take my house and property I suppose I’ll be ok if they put my glassware on display. I’ll take my chances.
