This guy has the nerve to talk about how his son is missing out on "the best part" of college life by not being on campus and going to classes with other students, building relationshps outside of football. So much classwork now being online. He says he doesn't know if his son has ever been to a class. Yes, sir, this guy is an authority on how great it is to go to class. Shedeur Sanders has never taken a class on campus and missing out, according to Coach Prime (msn.com)
Florida State Vows: No More Deion Sanderses : School Responds to Magazine Story on Football All-American's Academic Failure, Disinterest
His son has never had the joy of skipping actual in-person classes. It’s a bigger slap in the face to the school when you can do it in-person….or in this case, not do it in person.
You can buy a Sanders hoodie with his quote inscribed, "I Ain't Hard 2 Find." They should have added "Except in Class."
The next level, if they don't get things under control, will be snatching the illiterate class clowns from middle skool enrolling for 'football only'-no skool please. Society crumbling before our eyes... 'Student athlete?' Hmmmm Ncaa is doing a ton by the way. Pray for a meteor strike, the only hope. I'll go out with the dinosaurs part ll. (After a quick natty ) Maybe 2025, 26? I'm happy for the kids that want to and choose to be Gators. Go Gators.
I admire the true student athlete but many of our players too don’t belong in a college classroom. Ivy League players are the true student athletes but sec players form the league of guys that aspire to be professional athletes. Most won’t make it but that’s a more accurate description of what they truly are. Most sec football players are athletes first and some not really students at all. I don’t begrudge the kids if they are great athletes and barely qualified to be highschool graduates. More power to the rare ones tgat are elite at both. I also wanted to add tgat I have no desire to watch those Ivy League geeks try to play football either.
My buddy has a part time retirement job with the fsu athletic department thanks to deion, he drives around campus and checks if players attend class. He has a roster each day and he goes to those classes to make sure they attend.
He should use Deion's catchphrase to warn those players ahead of time: "I'm coming." He should even wear sunglasses when he goes in those classes, just to remind folks exactly who made this checking necessary.
I agree it's a poor choice of words. A more appropriate term would be the verb form of bovine manure.
