I think it means ETN is the first really talented gator that I ever remember transferring to Georgia. What a shithead

I try not to worry about things I cannot change in college football. Losing ETN sucks, but I'm now focused on who we have on our team, not someone else's team. By the way, I'll bet real money that his older brother got paid to help Trevor stab Gator Nation in the back like he did. Go to the dogs... and you were NEVER A GATOR. Not my concern anymore.

And like 96 said, when our first game of the season starts against Miami... we're all Gators.

I also know that I will NOT be thinking of UGA butt licking dogs like ETN.

 

Soon we'll do well to appreciate the coach we have whether it be CBN or whoever for actually wanting to coach in this CFB landscape that is being formed. The search for the next "Homerun" hire will soon become the search for the next "willing" coach. It's a sad era we are entering

 

As long as they are getting paid there will be no shortage of willing coaches. The crème de la crème will move to the league though

 

the top coaches after getting fired from the league- will they stay there or come back to put with the college minor league system?

 

I'd thought someone like kliff Kingsbury would have come back but looks like some don't mind dropping to coordinators.

And let's not assume a good NFL coach would have success in college. Whole different worlds between the 2. Some of CFB greatest coaches did terrible in the NFL Saban, Spurrier, and Meyer couldn't cut it, but Every so often you get a Harbaugh or Pete Carroll who transition well to both.

The lack of recruiting experience is what concerns me of some of the top NFL coaches who haven't coached in the college ranks

 

As long as everyone is paying stupid money to hire these jokers, there will be no shortages of applicants. Getting one that is good at what they do and doesn't burn out after a few years will be the trick.

 

This is not entirely the way it is. The NIL is how many teams did business even before it was legal business... the rub is that they cannot just offer some low-ball money and get the best players that they used to get... for peanuts. Now there is real competition to land the best college players, and that's what they do NOT like about college football.

But the truth is.. BC never had a chance to land the best in the new NIL world anyway.
