It looks like the declining numbers under Obama / Bush sharply reversed in 2017, though.... the Covid dip, then back to near record numbers by the end of Trump's term.

 

Reminds me of a certain former president. Waiting for one or more replies suggesting that have TDS although it does demonstrate that he is the ultimate hypocrite considering that since the beginning is his political career stopping illegal immigration has been his one overriding theme.

Although you're obviously being facetious, I remind you that while the Orange guy is very effective at captivating a crowd and Biden is the most boring speaker to hold the presidency in my lifetime boring Old Joe still managed to beat the entertaining Trump by almost 8 million votes in 2020.
