Well for starters it appears you put a bit more thought into the Biden negatives than the Trump negatives (not to several are very much opinion based). You didn't even manage to get all the crimes for which Trump was indicted. Again, I don't care who you vote for but if you think you're being objective you're only fooling yourself.

I can appreciate that you don’t like Biden. I don’t either. And at least you’re being frank when you put it that way. You’re not voting for Trump, you’re voting against Biden. I will be doing just the opposite — voting against Trump.

That said, let’s remember certain uncontroverted facts: (a) Trump, but Biden, negotiated the horrible exit from Afghanistan, and Trump’s exit was several months BEFORE Biden pulled the plug. And, it was Trump, not Biden, that negotiated directly with the Taliban at the exclusion of the Afghan government, thus permanently neutering the legitimacy of the Afghan government. Yes, Biden sat in the chair when the embarrassing withdrawal took place, but to somehow blame Biden without attribution of any blame to Trump is intellectual dishonesty.

    (b) Biden targeting political opponents? Biden decoupled the justice system from the presidency. More Democrats have been targeted in Biden’s term than in Trump’s, for starters. To the point, the fact that Trump has been targeted does not mean that he is targeted because of politics, it means that he was targeted because he committed the illegal acts. Where’s the outrage against Trump for not only taking the secret documents, but hiding them and lying about them?! Do you really find that political retribution? My goodness, all he had to do was return the documents and case closed. Instead, he lied, concealed, moved them across state lines to further hide them, and then caused his lawyers to lie on his behalf. That is, objectively, outrageous behavior.

And the sexual abuse? He was found liable by a jury IN HIS HOMETOWN!

And what’s the justification for Trump stealing mine earmarked FOR VETERANS, causing him to forfeit the right to run charitable companies?

Or the excuse for bankrupting multiple companies? Or, for that matter, keeping multiple books and records - phony and accurate? Or, the scores of other lawsuits that he lost? Trump is not some Victim; he is a bully that preys on others.

I consider the comparison between myself and Liz Cheney to be quite a compliment. Obviously an indicator that we both have the gift of astute analysis although unlike her I didn't have to pay the price of sacrificing a successful political career for telling the truth. When I think of Liz Cheney the title of John F. Kennedy's book, "Profiles in Courage" comes to mind.

Interested to know how you feel about him asking for total immunity.

That would scare the bejesus out of me, personally.

The "Biden politically targets his opponents" stuff is so dumb. You can't really believe that and have a 3-digit IQ.

Two high profile people with some connection to the political world have been indicted by the Biden DOJ: Donald Trump and Hunter Biden.

I don't hold politically motivated indictments for which the current administration is also guilty, or it's unlikely Trump is found guilty, or both against Trump.

I hold it against the current administration, Merrick Garland, Jack Smith, and the DAs responsible.

Also, I'm flattered some of ya'll come to Too Hot for "objective analysis." No better place to find that am I right? ;)

Yes, if there's one thing we know about Trump, it's this "home field advantage" he has in New York.

    Don't be ridiculous.

I don’t believe any elected official or government bureaucrat should be granted immunity from prosecution under any circumstances. But, what does that have to do with the problem some Too Wokesters have with with Trump obsession, derangement?

You know this is spinning when Biden takes credit for this and Trump distances himself from that withdrawal like the plague.

It's not just the fact we withdrew, it's how we withdrew, and that's on Joe Biden.

And who drew up the plans for the withdrawal? And who negotiated directly with the Taliban? And who knew the original plan was crap, and negotiated an extension? The answers? Trump, Trump, and Biden.

Biden's hands were tied. Trump handed him a sh!t sandwich and while Biden had the authority not to honor any withdraw agreement, to do so would have kept us in Afghanistan even longer. Biden's fault was thinking an additional six months would be sufficient, and that the Afghan government could hold the Taliban that long. Not the crap Trump handed him.

And Trump isn't Hitler...no mustache. But when you directly quote someone and follow his policies, nobody should be surprised when direct comparisons are made. Maybe if you think Trump shouldn't be compared with Hitler, tell Trump to stop using quotes like "poison the blood," calling domestic enemies, "vermin," and not follow the immigration concentration camp plan?

Instead of wondering why educated , moral people have your "TDS," perhaps your time would be better spent trying to determine what malfunctioned in the character of people who actually support him.

Nah, reading Too Woke ….. I found that all of the folks with TDS have that figured out. Unlike you cats, I’m not obsessed with Trump. I’m obsessed with identifying those who are …. those who suffer from TDS. I have POTDSS, pointing out TDS syndrome!

Trump negotiated the capitulation agreement to end W's war with the Taliban, which was signed in February, 2020. In November of 2020, Trump ordered that our troop level be brought down to 2500. Trump's capitulation agreement called for the troop level to be brought to zero by May, 2021.

Biden wanted out of Afghanistan. His options were to pull out or re-escalate the conflict by putting more troops back in. That would have invited more attacks by the Taliban and continued the war indefinitely.

The single largest miscalculation was how long Afghanistan's security forces would hold up. No one foresaw how quickly they would collapse. That was largest factor in the cluster(redacted) our withdrawal became.

With the hand that was dealt to Biden, not making up new facts, please explain how you would have organized an orderly withdrawal.

It's an empty defense mechanism used by righties to a) insulate themselves from the reality that he is indeed a worthless shitbag and b) aid in the martyrdom of Trump.

Spin is fair, but it is absolute nonsense to pin the withdrawal entirely in Biden. Trump negotiated a terrible withdrawal, after rejecting the generals’ recommendations and input. He orchestrated the catastrophe. Now, it’s equally fair to also blame Biden, who could have, and in retrospect should have, reversed the Trump plan entirely. But Biden wanted to exit Afghanistan and so he did so, and only slightly modified Trump’s catastrophic plan. Both of them deserve blame, and neither one of them should be boasting about the other’s Afghan mistakes.

So your big takeaway from the proven sexual abuse/defamation claims, is that there was forum shopping? Where do you think the case could have been filed?
