I forgot if it was the 4th or 5th inning but I remember Alabama had the bases loaded no outs. Gourley comes in and gets the first 2 outs via pop out and strike out. Next batter hits the ball hard to Kelsey and she bobbles it for what seems like an eternity but sticks with it and gets the out. That specific play IMHO knocked any hope and wind out of Alabama.

Seriously! If I am starting a College Softball Team this year. She would be the first position player I would take. Power/Speed/Average/Defense and truly elite at all. You don’t need Gator glasses to say that either. Now the next 5 might come from Oklahoma lol… Go Gators!

Those rankings look a lot more realistic than any others I have seen. I disagree with Nebraska above us but it's a preseason poll. I also don't see how Arkansas is above us. They have 0 proven pitching either.Oklahoma State has Kilfoyl and 0 offense. Until Pickens at Tennessee proves she can handle pressure I don't see them at 2 either. I'd put UGA ahead.

Tennessee picked to win 2024 SEC Softball season I hope next year the pick doesn't automatically chnage to OU. Idc if it goes to anyone else as long as it's not them. Would love to see them not come in and win like they think they will.
