We didn't expect to lose both our defensive line and dB coaches, but maybe this partly explains it: https://247sports.com/college/flori...mpression-on-4-star-myron-charles--225909622/
So a head coach doesn't have to sell anything, just make sure the collective ponies up the money? You could have easily responded to the original post i responded to, basically stating record and/or coaching future doesn't matter, as long as the money is there. (If that's what you believe).
Oh, crap, we don't need this in year three, and this doesn't sound good! Florida Football: NCAA investigation on 2022 recruitment Jaden Rashada
Here's what we really need in year three:.1) For the offense to fire on all cylinders; 2) For the defense to play their gaps, cover receivers, and force turnovers; and 3) For ST to remind us of the Urban Meyer years. You know I'm dreaming, but how would the players need to perform on a high level for some or all of this to happen?
All Gators need to hope and pray that BN is succesful otherwise more players will hit the TP and down goes Frazier.
I hadn't read thru this thread in a while... Besides the inherent problems with the transfer portal and NIL, we seem to be inching closer to where we need to be. Defensively, we're getting pretty close on paper. The offensive line needs help on paper and on the field. We need maybe two more experienced maulers. When looking back at this last season, the stink is obvious, but we were really close in a few games and let them slip away. Some of that was coaching, some was discipline and penalties, some of it was bad defensive play, and then toss in injuries. Finally, there's the not so special, special teams. This next portal period will be critical- remaining holes absolutely need to be filled; effectively. While this is all so obvious, I have nothing better to do but remain positive and restate the obvious. And on that note... Go Gators.
It's hard to be optimistic. Georgia got where they are by getting great recruiting classes year after year. We're no where close to doing that.
Stick with Billy or lose players en masse. With a few breaks this past year we'd have won seven or eight games. He just needs to hire a play caller.
IMO, either you are or aren't optimistic. it's how a person is wired. im optimistic by nature. i'll support CBN and believe we can win until he is no longer our coach.
The pessimist complains about the wind. The optimist expects it to change. The realist adjusts his sails.
Big difference between a spectator and a participant I guess CBN is a realist as he is adjusting his sails. Im an optimist as i expect him to be successful
