Would you prefer it if we only had a 3% tax, and the dramatically reduced spending that would come with it? That might get us a national defense comparable to Canada, with nothing left over for roads, highways, infrastructure, SS or Medicaid, etc etc.

I saw the aging one make that comment and thought he had stepped in it.
Liberals have are really really bad at messaging. About the only thing I think the Pubs are good at.

No, it is transitory in that if was a short term surge. Lasted less than 1 year.

The real damage from inflation isn't a temporary surge. It is when you have year after year after year of high inflation.

There are certainly a lot of folks out to get a lot of people these days. Maybe we could get the boogeymen to fight each other. Govt vs big business?

I think the idea here is to buy up farm land. If the uber rich buy up all of the farm land, then they get to choose what is produced on it. They could convert it to wind, solar, or insect farming. When the price of meat sky rockets due to plummeting supply, they are hoping you will eat bugs instead. At least that is how the WEF hopes it works out.

Tailgating at a Florida football game after the WEF and those in league with them eliminate most meat from the food supply:

Seems like if you think they want you to eat bugs and not own anything, you should want them to lose freedom/liberties, and especially their wealth which gives them power.

And why do you think they want that?

I agree completely with your concept but I believe it extends beyond farmland. I believe that they want more urban concentration of the population, so they will do what they feel is needed in real estate to achieve that. We already know what they want us to drive when we drive what little of that they are intending to allow us to do. There will be other things as well.

The tripling of interest rates under the Biden administration definitely helps them accomplish those ends because it prices out more and more of the population from being able to make the mortgage payments to own homes.
