That is when things started going south. - He repositioned himself away from a get things done governor to a far right wing conservative on some issues and abortion. As it stands he has greatly damaged his national Brand
She is second or third in command in the house. In 2016 she came in as a moderate R and was kind of anti Trump-ish. Since then she has done a 180 and is 100% loyal to Trump and MAGA all the time to the point of sychophancy. She was the one questioning the Harvard president in front of congress.
I wish "never go full big gov" was a thing, but it is not.
