Well, dang. Was hoping he would make America Florida. I was looking forward to Colo being poorer & dumber.
Turns out that I was originally correct. Posted after the Iowa caucus. I later said that he could stay in until South Carolina although I guess even Meatball Ron saw the writing on the wall. I guess that Ron decided that he would be a more viable candidate for the 2028 nomination as 1-time loserm rather than as a serial loser.
With NH polling closer than Trump would like, some deal was made behind the scenes to do it now. DeSantis’ six pints could be important there. If Trump wins NH, the race is effectively over, trying to seal it. what an epic fail of a campaign though.
Turns out the woke educational system doesn't have record of that Churchill quote as being accurate. But I'm sure it's accurate in Hillsdale history and will be in future Florida historical textbooks
Every cycle there’s one or two people that think they can win on social issues. They never do. In the end people care about their pocket books and their safety (in all its forms). Amazing that a Harvard and Yale guy wasn’t smart enough to figure that out.
Poor Ron and his supporters really fooled themselves into thinking he had a chance. Now he’s forced to humbly bow out and bow down to King Trump, just like his supporters will.
Just further confirmation that Trump has an iron grip on the gop. It is not TDS if he owns one of our two major parties.
Coward. Hopefully the legal system will do what Ron could not. ...and Nikki would be the beneficiary.
Crashed and burned . What an epic fail and waste of $$, threw support to trump and trashed Haley on the way out. Maybe lobbying for the vp slot, tho that seems like a long shot. But damn, back to screwing up Florida I guess.
It’s amusing that so many thought he was a great candidate even as recently as a few months ago. Now republicans know what dems in Florida have looooong known. He’s terrible.
Even if he couldn’t win, what support he had earlier on cratered because folks saw he was a one trick pony. And not on a topic most people would elect someone over.
