A lot of these players Golden found in the transfer portal are beginning to find out that the SEC is a huge step up in competition - the increased physicality, athleticism, etc.

I just don’t get it. We don’t ask for a national championship team in either sport. Yet our rivals win national titles. Easily make the tournament. We just flounder and watch other schools pass us by.

 

The play tonight matches my expectations bases on how CTG teams have played for a year and a half. They seem to pound teams where they have a talent surplus and get pounded when the other team is more talented. Perhaps it will change. The game meets my expectation so I'm going to enjoy what I can.
