It does seem like they’re allowed more latiude with physical defense inside - but it often looks that way to me , so may just be my fan bias.

At some point it becomes clear that SEC refs allow teams to body on high screens, body under the basket, and generally will let teams play extremely physical basketball rather than foul players out. Well, during Ole Miss game, many said many teams we play seemingly play their best game, shoot lights out, etc. Kind of prophetic, it seems.
